A Network Interface Card (NIC) is required in your computer. Use the instructions below to determine if one is installed:

Win 98 / Millenium Edition – Right Click MY COMPUTER, select PROPERTIES > DEVICE MANAGER, click the plus sign beside NETWORK ADAPTERS. You should see an ethernet card named there.

Win 2000 / XP–  Right Click MY COMPUTER , select PROPERTIES > HARDWARE > DEVICE MANAGER, click the plus sign beside NETWORK ADAPTERS. You should see an ethernet card named there.

If you don’t see a network card there, please inform the Figment staff when booking the installation appointment, and a network card can be brought to you at a cost of $20.00.
